Celebrating International Women’s Day with Citilink!

Today, on International Women’s Day, Citilink is proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible women who contribute their talents and dedication to our team. As we honor the achievements and resilience of women worldwide, we are delighted to share that within our Citilink family, we have a total of 53 remarkable women, or about 40% of our workforce, who play integral roles across various departments.

Here’s a glimpse into the diversity and strength of our female workforce:

Within our group of diverse women, we have 33 Black or African American women and 20 white women. Of these, two are street supervisors ensuring our drivers have the tools to be successful, two dispatchers who keep our drivers informed, two are hostlers helping keep our buses clean, thirty are Access or Fixed Route drivers providing safe and friendly service to our riders, and seventeen work in our administrative offices (five of which serve in a leadership position), providing the needed support to ensure Citilink is able to meet its mission in linking people to life.

On this International Women’s Day, Citilink celebrates the incredible contributions of our female staff members and thank them for sharing their skills with Citilink and our community. Our women are resilient, dedicated, and pave the path. Together, we are fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where all employees have the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
