Citilink’s Summer Youth Bus Passes are back for 2024. The discounted passes are available for children ages 5-18 and help make transportation easier for the summer with unlimited rides for just $25.
With the Summer Youth Pass, kids can gain independence and enjoy everything Fort Wayne has to offer. They can ride the bus to the libraries, the mall, the parks, friend’s houses and have access to various locations across the city.
“Citilink is excited to offer our youth access to independence and connection this summer and for just over 30 cents a day,” said Citilink’s Marketing and Development Director Casey Claypool. “We know life doesn’t stop when school does, and this is one of the ways Citilink is committed to linking people to life.”
Claypool also noted that in addition to granting kids freedom and access to the city’s amenities, Citilink’s Summer Youth Bus Passes save money for adults who frequently travel with children during the summer.
Ticket sales for the Summer Youth Bus Pass begin on Friday, May 10, and the tickets will be valid from May 25 through Aug. 7. Tickets are available for purchase on the Citilink website, at Citilink’s office at 801 Leesburg Rd., at Citilink’s Central Station, 121 W. Baker St., on Token Transit and select Kroger stores.
Unsure how to utilize Citilink’s service? Citilink offers free travel training to adults and minors (with adult attendance). To explore the routes and destinations kids can visit throughout the summer, visit Citilink’s website at fwcitilink.com.
